Fairy Geraldine Boling Priest of Edmond, OK, was born November 10
th
, 1930, and passed peacefully from her Earthly home, surrounded by her family, on June 13
th
, 2015. She was born to Samuel and Leona Boling. Geraldine became a graduate of Deer Creek High School where she was an avid basketball player. Following graduation, she met and married her soul mate, Jimmie Joe Priest. During their sixty years of marriage, Jimmie and Geraldine created a legacy of love and family including three children, Fary Watkins and husband Larry of Harrah, Jimmie Joe Priest Jr. and wife Marilyn of Edmond, and Sam Priest and wife Nancy of Edmond. Jimmie and Geraldine were further blessed with five grandchildren, David Priest, Melissa Sparks, Cari Ham, Jimmie Joe Priest III, and Katrina Priest, along with seven wonderful great-grandchildren. Geraldine is further survived by her sisters, Gay Briggs of Wichita and Marvel Savage of Midwest City. Geraldine is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmie, her parents, her brother Vernon Boling, and her precious granddaughter, Heather Watkins.
Along with her great love of family, Geraldine's passions included traveling, photography, cooking, writing, and a true love of nature. She leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and many cherished memories.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel.
