Guy Trent Smith

Guy Trent Smith, a loving father and husband, passed away in his sleep on February 4, 2014. Trent was born April 10, 1971 in Provo Utah to Gary and Arlene Smith. Trent grew up in Orem Utah and graduated from Orem High School. He excelled in sports and participated in basketball, soccer and cross country. Trent had a love for music and a beautiful singing voice. He sang in Acapella and Chamber choirs. He was instrumental in starting a male quartet in high school with Eric and Stephen Gibbons and Steve Eastmond. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico. Trent was an amazing husband, father, son and brother. He loved to spend time with his children golfing, skiing, camping, playing basketball and singing together as he played the piano. He made his living as a Podiatrist in Oklahoma. He served in many church callings and loved the Gospel and his Savior. His loss will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife Angie and their children: Austin, Madyson, Preston and Brayden. his in-laws, parents, and siblings. Services will be 2pm Friday February 7, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Edmond. A memorial fund has been set up in Trent's name at the First Fidelity bank in Edmond.
