Heather Hennigan Wadley
June 4, 1980 – September 14, 2018
Heather Hennigan Wadley of Edmond, OK was born June 4, 1980 in Okmulgee, OK to Bill Edward and Patricia Lee Hennigan. She attended Okmulgee schools her entire life, graduating in 1998. She then attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 2002, and University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, graduating in 2004 from the Physician Associate Program. Heather practiced medicine at OU Dermatology, where she was an accomplished and respected Faculty member in the College of Medicine. She was adored by her patients, many of whom, had her personal telephone number. Heather married Rance Wadley on July 25, 2009 and to this union was born Boston Edward Wadley on August 13, 2013.
Heather was a loving daughter, devoted wife, and an incredible mother. She was a caring aunt and a proud sister. She was an avid reader, a reality show junkie, and a wine connoisseur. She loved yoga, foot rubs, and candy of all assortments. She enjoyed travel with a modest sprinkle of adventure. She watched the sun rise from a volcano and cage dived with Great whites off the coast South Africa. She did Christmas in New York and Easter on Alcatraz. She was a loyal friend who was always ready for a social event. Shoes and purses were her love language. Her proudest accomplishment was Boston Edward Wadley. She loved to draw pictures with him and read him books. She enjoyed participating in his activities such as soccer, gymnastics, and tae kwon do. Her wit was sharp, her hands were gentle, and her smile was pure sunshine. She loved every human she ever met, and they loved her.
Heather is survived by her husband, Rance and son Boston of the home. Her mother Patricia of Okmulgee, brother Bryan of Oklahoma City, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Heather is preceded in death by her father Ed Hennigan, her grandparents, Earnest and Helen Fuller, and Gene and Faye Smith.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, September 20, 2018 at LifeChurch at Broadway and Britton.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, from 6-8 PM at Matthews Funeral Home of Edmond.
