Helen Marie Cleek
1930-2024
Helen passed away at home with her family on Thursday, October 3, 2024. She was born in Mansfield, OH to Nick and Zella Goetz and was the third of seven children. They lived on a farm in southern Logan County where she attended school in Arcadia and Guthrie.
Ira and Helen were married for 62 years before he passed. They had three children: Linda Patton, Margaret Huggins and Terry Cleek.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband Ira Cleek and their son Terry. She is survived by their daughters, Linda and husband Wendell Patton of Guthrie, OK and Margaret and husband Tim Huggins of Avoca, TX. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Her past times were gardening and caring for her chickens. Every spring she loved mushroom hunting.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, October 4 th at Matthews Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Arcadia IOOF Cemetery, Arcadia, OK.
