In loving memory of, Helen Bates Price, who was born on January 7, 1932 in Sulphur, Oklahoma; she passed away February 25, 2014. Helen met her husband Roger "Jack" Price in Sulphur, Oklahoma. They were married in 1952, and they moved to the west Edmond area in 1953. She retired as a payroll clerk from Bradford Village Nursing Home.

Helen enjoyed crocheting, reading and gardening. She and her husband were members of Central Sam's Campers Club where they made a lot of friends and traveled to many places. Helen is survived by one son, Roger Price, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many more nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Price, her parents Cleo and John Bates, and siblings; Dwain Bates, Lois Ann Shelton, and Barbara Hicks. She was loved by many. A celebration of her life will be 10:00am, Tuesday March 4, 2014 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel.
