Helon Lucille Hamm

Helon Welch Hamm passed away on February 1, 2020 in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was born May 31, 1915 in Hickory, Oklahoma to Eula Inez and Clyde Forest Welch. She was proceeded in death by her husband Dr. Thomas Hamm. Helon was the mother of three children: Joe E. Crawford, Jr., deceased, Marisue Crawford Haigler, and Helon Carole Crawford Keith. Helon retired from the University of Central Oklahoma after 23 years as Secretary to Dean of College and Assistant to President of the University. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Edmond, Oklahoma. Chapter D.P.E.O. – Cambridge Club – Good Books; University Women's Club; past President of Edmond Medical Center Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers she has requested memorials be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund. A memorial service will be held at First Christian Church Chapel of Edmond, Oklahoma on Friday, February 7 th at 10:30 A.M. with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
