Henry Joseph Roberts
1951 – 2023
Henry Roberts, 72, was born April 1 st , 1951, in Hackensack, New Jersey to Hilmar and Hermina (Kloiber) Roberts. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 18 th , 2023, in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Henry was a long-time resident of Highland Falls, New York. He was a machinist for the Navy in Vietnam from 1970-1974 where he was aboard U.S.S Inchon and U.S.S L.Y. Spears. Henry continued that career as a civilian in the fabrication industry and worked as a propane delivery driver. Henry was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, camping, canoeing, and just being outdoors. He was a member of Life.Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Kurt Roberts and Paul Roberts.
Henry is survived by his wife, Randi Roberts; first wife Joann Chambers; brother Hilmar "Butch" Roberts and wife Janet; children Hilary Roberts, Timothy Roberts, Christopher Hennessy and wife Tiffany, Richard Hennessy, and Elizabeth Hennessy; grandchildren Faith Alsbrook, Myron Roberts, and Jayden Roberts, Nevaeh Hennessy, Darnell Williams, Mialynn Williams, Sean Williams, Monica Hennessy, Adam Hennessy, C.J. Hennessy, and MaKayla Hennessy. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, shipmates, and friends.
He will be loved and missed by all. The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice.
Graveside services are to be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma.
