H.L. "Corky" Miller

H.L. "Corky" Miller, 74 of Edmond, OK was born Jan. 18, 1941 to Pete and Rose (Lapeer) Miller. H.L graduated from Woodward High School and proudly served his country in the US Army. He worked his entire life in the lumber business, starting in Woodward at the age of 16. He spent 28 years working for International Paper (Longbell), and finally Hope Lumber, retiring in 2006. He is survived by his wife Joan (Parsons) Miller, son, James & Paula Miller; grandchildren, Kristin Tucker and Nick and Jacob Allen Miller; sister, Maxine Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and son Charles Miller, sisters, Betty Shaw, Edna Currier and brother, Joe Miller.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond, OK.
