Ingrid Murry

Ingrid Murry, of Edmond, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026, at the age of 91. She was born on March 10, 1935, in Bad-Salzungen/Thur Germany. Ingrid will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She carried with her the traditions and spirit of her German homeland while building a life filled with love, warmth, and treasured memories.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Lee Murry and his wife Lori; her grandsons, Ryan Andrew Murry and Tyler Matthew Murry and his wife Laura; and her great-grandsons, Duncan Oliver Murry and Wyatt Jean Murry and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband George, sisters Felicitas, Ursula, Gisela and Anne. Ingrid’s love for her family was the center of her life, and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and devotion that will continue through generations.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home, 601 S. Kelly, Edmond OK 73003.

A service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Sill National Cemetery, 2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd., Elgin OK 73538.

Ingrid will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
