Jack William Klameth passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, at the age of 74 surrounded by family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Klameth, his three children: Christopher and Toby Klameth of Lubbock, TX; Gordon and Angie Schultz of Edmond, OK; and Rusty and Jennifer Klameth of Wichita Falls, TX, his nine grandchildren, and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters and a grandson.
Jack was born and raised in Salina, Kansas, lived primarily in Texas and settled in Oklahoma. Jack was dedicated to his church and a mentor to many. Jack led a life in civil service, retiring from the Air Force after twenty years and then retiring from the US Postal Service after sixteen years. During the course of his life, Jack could be found coaching little league, camping with the Scouts, attending volleyball games, and his longest passion was being the Coordinator of Leadership Training for Christ where he was lovingly referred to as "Captain Jack".
Jack was a gentle man who had a hug or handshake for all and never failed to offer a smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family will greet friends at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond on Tuesday, July 15th from 5pm-7pm. There will be a service held at Edmond Church of Christ on Wednesday, July 16th at 10am. Graveside services will be at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls at 3pm on July 16th.
