James Martin Bobo
1997 – 2022
James Martin Bobo, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, died January 1, 2023. James was born on August 22, 1997, in Edmond to Jim and Missie Bobo. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Barbara Bobo. James is survived by his parents, one sister Meagan of Edmond, Grandparents Doyle and Sue Martin of Edmond and Grandfather Jim Bobo of Houston, MO. Survivors also include aunts and uncles Toni Wolfe (Greg), Tammy Jensen (Greg), Teri Hale, and Don (Kendra) Martin and his cousins Nic Jensen, Zac Jensen, Brianna Hale, Jacob Hale, Tyler Martin, Taryn Martin and Max Wolfe.
Family was important to James, and he made it a priority to attend all family gatherings.
James graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Computer Aided Drafting and enjoyed his job as a Draftsman. Drawing and writing were his creative outlets. James enjoyed being in nature with fishing and walks at Martin Nature Center being some of his favorite activities. He adored his dog Milo who was his buddy and best friend. He was a kind hearted man with an ability to make people laugh. He is loved and will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2023, in the chapel at the Edmond Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Teen Recovery Solutions at teenrecoverysolutions.org or the Edmond Church of Christ Angel Park Community Project.
Services will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, at Edmond Church of Christ beginning at 2:00pm.
