1951 – 2023
Jean "Jeanie" D. Dale-Joecks, age 71, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed peacefully into the hands of Our Heavenly Father on September 24, 2023. Jeanie was born on October 12, 1951 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Harry and Edith Dale. She was preceded in death by her parents. Jeanie is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Mark Joecks, and her devoted son, Christopher Cooper and his fiance Ellen Coppinger, along with her bonus children, Sean and Kim Joecks, Sam and Skyler Stagner, Robert and Stephanie Doughty, and grandchildren. Jeanie is also survived by her sisters, Jo Ann Engelbrecht, Glee Bertram and husband Steve, and Mark's sister, Marsha Guard and Dennis. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
Jeanie worked for many years as a Reinsurance Analyst at American Fidelity, where she retired, as well as at FDIC, and the Benham Group. She loved to travel, cook delicious meals for her family, and enjoyed spending Thanksgiving in Texas. Jeanie was always fashionable with her clothing, hair, and makeup. She had a fond love of Dr. Pepper, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
She was a member of Crossings Community Church, and her faith was known by all. Her gift was her unfailing devotion to the Lord. Jeanie will be remembered by her steadfast love. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held at Crossings Community Church Chapel, 14600 N. Portland Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on Friday, September 29 th at 10 am. Burial Service will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Oklahoma on Friday, September 29 th at 2:30 pm.
