Jeanne Lynell Pearl (St. Cyr) passed from this life on January 15, 2026. She was born in 1950 in Oklahoma City to Leonard and Odessa St. Cyr and lived her life exactly the way she wanted: on her own terms.
She was fearless, extraordinarily stubborn, and as true as they come. Jeanne had zero tolerance for nonsense, excuses, or B.S. but was always up for a good laugh and had the heart of a lion for the people she cared about. She lived simply and had no interest in changing that. Technology never stood a chance.
She lived most of her life in Oklahoma City and created a trail of friends wherever she went. Not because she tried to, but because she was unapologetically herself. She wasn’t out to charm people, she just sort of ended up feeling like someone you’ve always known.
She was rough around the edges and soft where it counted. Fiercely loyal, and honest to a fault – because you always knew where you stood with her. But you also knew she had your back and you felt better knowing it. If Jeanne said she’d be there, she was there. No questions. No drama. Just her in her jeans and t-shirt, showing up.
Jeanne Pearl wouldn’t want a big, flowery obituary or a drawn-out goodbye. She’d just want people to remember the good times, share a laugh or two, and get on with living.
Jeanne is survived by her mother, Odessa St. Cyr, sisters Karen Berry, and Vickie Pool and her husband, Dennis; nephew Freddy Harth and his wife, Dawn; niece Casi Tapp and her husband, Jim; nephew Preston Pool and his wife, Paris; one great-nephew, Lincoln Tapp; and three great-nieces, Piper Tapp, Lulu Harth, and Porter Pool.
