Jess L Cooper IV was born November 29, 1966, to Jess and Wilma Cooper in Sacramento, California. He changed addresses to his eternal home on October 30, 2026.

Jess attended Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Over the course of his career, Jess worked in several different fields, ranging from real estate to retail management.

For ten years, Jess made his home in Colorado, where he developed a profound love for the beauty and majesty of the Rocky Mountains. His other passions included music and figure skating.

Jess was a man of strong faith, finding strength and guidance in his faith in Christ and belief in God.

He is remembered by his friends and family as a loving and loyal companion, a passionate individual, and a generous person who donated his time and resources to various causes. Jess was a great listener with an empathetic heart, always willing to lend an ear and offer support. Both his biological and chosen family were a source of great joy to him, and he cherished the relationships he had with both. He prayed for those he loved and cared about daily.

He will be forever remembered for his immense generosity, compassionate soul who cared deeply about others and the rare kindness of his heart.

Jess will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A reception will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, Oklahoma.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond, Oklahoma.
