Jessie L. Girkin, 91, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, with her family by her side. Jessie was born on January 29, 1931, to Ira Franklin Bullard and Ruth Agness (Rea) Bullard in Collinsville, Oklahoma.

Jessie is preceded in death by her husband, James Clinton Girkin, parents, Ira and Ruth Bullard, son, Lindel Bruce Girkin, daughter-in-law, Judy Girkin, great granddaughter, "Angel Baby" Girkin, sister Ethel Upky, brother, Darrel Bullard.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Diana Hoffman and husband, John of Edmond, Oklahoma, son, Richard Girkin and wife, Donna of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Melisa  Tanksley  and husband, Jeff, Andy Girkin and wife, Natalie, Mike Hoffman and wife, Misti, Clinton Girkin, Timothy Girkin, Curtis and Tammy Awbrey, Jennifer Mankins and husband Richard, great grandchildren, Sarah, Evalyn, Katey, Jarik, Kyston, and Elle , along with numerous other family and friends.

A come and go visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma beginning at 12:00 PM and lasting until 8:00 PM.

A Celebration of Jessie's Life will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
