Jill Marlene Keener, most recently of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away in 2026, leaving behind a legacy of profound kindness and a fierce, unwavering love for her family.
Born in Harrah, Oklahoma, Jill was the deeply loved, adopted daughter of George Peters and Bobbie Couch. A proud graduate of Harrah High School’s Class of 1990 and a true '80s kid at heart, her youth was soundtracked by the music of Duran Duran, that passion for music that continued throughout her life and eventually expanded to include her love for BTS.
Professionally, Jill was a dedicated part of the team at Century Martial Arts. However, those who knew her understood that her true "superpower" was her boundless generosity. Jill possessed a heart of gold and would do anything in her power to help anyone in need.
When she wasn't helping others, Jill could often be found enjoying her favorite hobby, cross-stitching, or settling in for a Harry Potter movie marathon. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially a cold Coca-Cola paired with Jolly Ranchers, and she deeply loved the companionship of her beloved pets, Rascal and Bella.
Above all else, Jill’s proudest accomplishments in life were her girls and her grandbabies. She poured her heart into being a mother and grandmother, and her memory will live on through the family she cherished so deeply.
Jill is survived by her parents, George Peters and Bobbie Couch; her brother, Guy Peters; her beloved daughters, Samantha Keener and Kristen Keener; and the absolute lights of her life, her grandchildren: Willow, Sophia, and Osiris. She will be missed beyond measure by all who were lucky enough to know her.
