Jimmie Lee Newton
1930-2018
Jimmie Lee Newton was born to Ezra and Beatrice Lillian Newton in Quinton, Oklahoma. He graduated High School and married his High School sweetheart Sarah Virginia Chambers in 1949 in McClain, Texas. They were married for 61 years until she preceded him in death in 2010. Together they had three children Teri Delene, Tamara Diane, and Steven Kent, and were also blessed with a foster son, Harrison Lowe. From there they had 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. After his wife Sarah Virginia passed in 2010 he then married Sandra Ewer Lockwood in 2011. They were married until his passing on April 18, 2018.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Edmond Church of Christ with interment to follow at Waterloo Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
