Judith “Judy” Kaye Monroe

November 30, 1943 — November 30, 2022

Judy was a small town girl from Sulphur Oklahoma.  Her Mother died when she was 17, and she then took care of her 4 year old brother Don and her Dad.  After high school, she moved to Oklahoma City and accepted a Job a Tinker AFB.  She worked in Procurement where she made lifelong friends with many people there, including our friends, Keith and Nema.   Charles met Judy on a blind date and fell in love with this wonderful person.  Judy never met a stranger during her life and was genuinely loved by all the people she knew.  Judy was tireless in her concern and care for all our family and friends.  She was the biggest fan of her beloved Oklahoma Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys.

After retiring, she enjoyed cooking and traveling with friends and family. She loved her best friends in Edmond:  Ethel, Cindy, and Cheri. She was always thoughtful, supportive, and ready with advice or a quick witty comment to brighten the day. She was great fun to be with and talk to. Her sisters –in-law (Jeanne and Jerryl  Deane) were her "sisters" and best friends.  She doted on all of our nieces and nephews especially Shelley who she knew from Shelly's childhood.  She loved our cat Cato.  Judy will be incredibly missed as there was no nicer person in any of our lives.

The family of Mrs. Monroe will be present to greet friends and guests on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
