Her Story:
Celebrating the Life of Kaelyn Rae Eddy

Our beloved Kaelyn Rae entered this world on November 3, 2006. Her precious soul entered the presence of her Lord in the early morning hours of September 17th, 2026.

Way too soon for us; we want her here, but her Father wanted her with Him more. In just 19 years of life she has fulfilled her assignment and has now been called home.

To know her was to know this one thing:

She loved her Father!

She marveled at His creation—hiking and exploring mountains, rivers, and lakes, and especially loved fishing with her Dad. She loved the ocean—but NOT the jellyfish! She delighted in wildflowers, with sunflowers always her favorite. She loved animals, but none more than her sweet Sheepadoodle, Kaytee. She loved chasing sunrises and sunsets. And, most of all, she loved people. She treasured her family and friends deeply.

She was an incredibly gifted athlete, excelling in basketball and volleyball, and she always loved being part of a team. More recently, she had begun perfecting her golf swing with her Dad.

She nurtured her creativity, bringing beauty to life through watercolor and strumming her guitar.

She loved exploring and was always up for an adventure-especially one with her Mama. She had a Kingdom-centered heart-always meeting a need or quick to include an outsider. She made people feel seen and welcomed. She had a sweet heart for missions and proclaimed His name locally and to the nations, specifically in Panama, Kenya, and Zambia. She impacted souls wherever she went.

In the summer of 2024 she fell in love with her Bridegroom.

She “found the One” by whom she was “fully seen and loved…the One who created the world…the One who knows and cares.” She encountered the “perfect man” and was “forever captivated by His glory.” Those were her own words to her Bridegroom.

Her pursuit of Him was evident. She was marked “pure”-the very word tattooed on her arm- and set apart for His glory. She was hungry for His Word and spent hours reading, studying, and trying to fully understand everything in it. There is always more understanding. His Word is alive and

active. So in honor of Kaelyn-READ IT! His Word is a bottomless well of the very sustenance for your soul-partake in it.

Her next “mission trip” was to go to the nations through service in the Air Force. She desired to work with K-9s, specifically within a special forces unit . She was set to leave October 6th for basic training in San Antonio, TX.

We were actively planning one last fishing trip over a special week, where we wanted to be with Him and with her, together-set apart. But the Father in His mercy and kindness said, “I want her more.”

He is sovereign.

So, we will seek and BEHOLD the face of the KING of glory. For in seeking Him and worshiping Him, our souls are closest to Him.

Kaelyn’s favorite Psalm was Psalm 24:

“Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle.”

Oh, warrior princess, beautiful bride, thank you for pointing us to Him…and in His presence, one day we will SEE and BE together again.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Kaelyn Rae Eddy on Saturday, September 26, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints Community Church, 11400 Portland Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73120.
