Kathryn Ann Hubbel passed away at the age of 74 on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.  Kathy was born on April 2, 1946 in Ft. Collins, Colorado to Orin Allen Kimball and Anna Marguerite Henry Kimball.   She was the oldest of 3 children. Her family moved to Midwest City, OK in 1951 and Oklahoma remained her home until her passing.  Kathy graduated from Midwest City High School in 1964 and was married on December 3, 1965 to William Lee Kaiser. Together they had three children: Charles, Stacy and Kimberly.  Kathy married Melvin Hubbel on April 24, 1991 and remained happily married until his passing. They enjoyed square dancing and traveling.

After graduating from Midwest City High School, Kathy went to work for Sears.  After starting a family, Kathy was very active in PTA and Band Parents, where she held every office from homeroom mother to PTA President for four terms.  She also worked at PTA council level, holding several offices there.  In 1983 she was chosen "Patron of the Year" for the Mid-Del School System.  The majority of her working years were spent at Metro Tech until retiring in December 2008.  Kathy was very patriotic and involved at different times with the Tri-City Republican Women's Club and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Kathy was always thinking and doing for others that didn't have as much, especially at Christmas when she was known to organize efforts to provide a wonderful Christmas for families in need.  Family dinners and holidays were very important to her and she always made them very special.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Orin and Marguerite Kimball and her husband Mel Hubbel. She is survived by her children, William Charles Kaiser (Ann), Stacy Ann Javaheri (Scott), Kimberly Lea Nowell, Stepson, Alex Bradford; Grandchildren: Lauren Michele Nowell (Caren), Jeffrey Scott Javaheri, Mason Abigail Kaiser, Taylor Ann Javaheri, Ryan Charles Javaheri, Nathan Allen Javaheri; Great-Grandchildren: Theo Carlisle Wilcox, Milo James Wilcox; Siblings: Orin "Unc" Kimball (Barbara), Teri Ward

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church of Edmond and will be live streamed as well, interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
