Kay Hauser Nimmo, of Edmond, passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 79.
Born in El Reno, Kay was the beloved daughter of William and Mildred. She later made her home in Edmond, where she built a life centered on love, family, and caring for others. Kay graduated from Edmond High School and went on to work as a dog groomer—a profession that beautifully reflected her gentle spirit and deep love for animals. She brought comfort and kindness not only to the pets she cared for, but also to everyone who knew her.
Kay will be remembered for her warm heart, her devotion to her family, and the quiet, steady way she showed up for those she loved. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand, or simply her presence, she made a lasting difference in the lives of many.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bill; her daughters, Heather and her husband Tony, and Hallie and her husband Danny; her cherished grandchildren, Britney, Ashley, Bryce, and Colby; her great-grandchildren, Jaxyn and Maverick; and her brother, George “Bax.”
