Kelley Charles Callahan, beloved husband and father, was born in Oklahoma City on August 22, 1952, and passed away on September 10, 2025.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marjorie; his daughters Kate, Meg, and Casey; son-in-law Walker Robins; soon-to-be sons-in-law Pete Murphy and Ralph Kucharek; grandsons Wiley and Herweck Robins; sister Cathy DeLano and her husband James; sister Patty Callahan, nephew Jeff Sears and his wife Helena and their children Sandra, Daniella and Sean; sister-in-law Barbara Parry; brother-in-law Richard Parry and his wife Gayle and their children Kristi and Michael; and father-in-law William Parry.
He was preceded in death by his father, James, whose death when Kelley was 13 left a profound impact on him; Mother Eloise; nephew Brendan DeLano; and mother-in-law June Parry.
A local baseball legend at Harding and Casady, Kelley went to Colgate University on a baseball scholarship and picked grapefruits on a kibbutz in Israel before getting his law degree at the University of Oklahoma. He proudly practiced law until retirement, but his three daughters want him to be remembered most of all for reading to them every single night and for taking them to Braums.
The family is having a hard time imagining a world without him in it but find comfort imagining him in his heaven – taking the field at Chandler Baseball Camp, running the bases free of worry.
