Kelvin Dean Sinning, 71, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on January 15, 2026.
Kelvin was born on October 9, 1954, in Wakeeney, Kansas, to Elvin and Peggy Sinning. After graduating from high school in Lawton, Oklahoma, he went on to build a career in building-related trades. He eventually retired from Francis Tuttle Technology Center.
On September 6, 1985, Kelvin married LaDonna Walker, in Gotebo, Oklahoma. Kelvin was a devoted husband and a proud father, known for his steady presence and commitment to those he loved.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, LaDonna Sinning; his beloved daughter, Annika Sinning; his brothers, Michael and Randy; his sister, Cheryl; and a large extended family of in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Kelvin was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Tammy.
In accordance with Kelvin’s wishes, no public services will be held. His family will mark his passing privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kelvin’s memory to the Stephenson Cancer Center or the Oklahoma Dementia Care Network (OkDCN) via the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative.
