Kenneth Gregory Burger

Kenneth Gregory Burger, 60, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, March 10. Ken and his wife, Stephanie, were the loves of each other’s lives for over thirty years. Together they built a beautiful life and family, and his wife and children were everything to him.

A talented contractor, carpenter, and woodworker, Ken saw his trade as more than a craft… he was an artist. He took pride in building and creating with his hands and had a unique eye for design and detail. His creativity and eclectic style showed up in the spaces he built and the way he lived his life. He loved to cook and to travel. His cooking was unforgettable, though it often required hours of patience. Dinner was served on his time, but always worth the wait. Whether at home or exploring somewhere new, he enjoyed bringing people together and making memories along the way.

Ken built a beautiful life for his family despite many odds and adversities. Through his work and the relationships he built with clients, colleagues, friends, and neighbors, he touched more lives than his family will likely ever know.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his children, Megan and wife, Michelle, JP and wife Briauna, Ken’s granddaughters, Carter and Camden, Kenzie and husband Matt, Ken’s granddaughter, Sloane, and son Jacob and wife Ally; his brothers, William, James, and Jeff, his sister, Jenny, and parents, Sue and Hans. He is preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine and Jimmy. The family also takes great comfort in knowing Ken is now reunited with his beloved son, Landon.

All who knew and loved Ken are invited to join the family in remembering and celebrating his life.

The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support they’ve received during this very difficult time.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, OK. Memorial services will be held no Monday, March 16, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, OK.
