Kenneth Leo Knight, born on May 3, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away January 30, 2025, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Born to Stanley and Ann Knight of Dayton, Ohio Ken was one of four children. His family moved from Dayton to Findley, Ohio before making Oklahoma their final home.

After moving to Oklahoma Ken's sister Nancy opened Shady Shutter Shop where Ken worked and managed the sales and installation of the shutters. Little did he know that this was where he would meet the love of his life Janelle Whisler. In 1980 Janelle had specially ordered shutters to be installed and Ken was the one that came out to measure and install them. They married two years later in 1982 and were married for 42 years.

Ken showed love for his country by serving in the Army reserve and he was proud to do so. Ken had many hobbies hunting, fishing, sprint car racing, and the Indy 500 but the thing he loved to do the most was taking long walks with his two best friends Hershey and Dakota his and Janelle's Labrador's. Hershey and Dakota's ashes will be laid to rest with Ken as this was his request.

Ken was preceded in death by his mother and father Stanley and Ann Knight, and his sister Nancy Jordan. Ken is survived by his wife Janelle Knight of Edmond, Oklahoma, two brothers, Stan Knight and his wife Diana of Carmel, Indiana, and Doug Knight and his wife Nancy of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the Kansas Cemetery, located off NW 194 th St., and Morgan Rd., Piedmont, Oklahoma.
