Kenneth V. Minor
October 21, 1958 – February 20, 2023
Kenneth V. Minor went to be with his Lord and Savior February 20, 2023. He was a kind, intelligent, hardworking man with a heart of gold and of sterling character. He attended OSU but left shy of graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering to start his own business and raise a family with the love of his life, Beth; with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.
Ken enjoyed a successful career growing his company, Minor Mechanical and eventually became a land developer and builder on Lake Texoma. He was a generous man who shared his time and expertise without charge.
A man of impeccable character, Ken loved mentoring and opened his business to family and friends interested in learning a trade to further their own careers and the betterment of their families. He took great joy in the success of others.
A loving and caring father, Ken adored his children and grandchildren and loved them beyond measure. He was an avid OSU fan but also rooted for OU (when not playing OSU).
Ken spent his life on family, friends, and his fellow man. He was loved and respected by all who had the great fortune to know him.
Although his passing was unexpected and extremely untimely, we are comforted that he is now with Jesus and family and friends who have gone before.
Ken is preceded in Glory by both his parents, Gerald Minor and June (Coats) Minor and all of his grandparents. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ellen (Kinney) Minor; Children: Jennifer Anne Minor and Christopher Thomas Minor of Edmond, OK; Grandchildren: Graham, Aiden and Mason. Sisters: Carrie and Sam Dodd of OKC and their children: Payton and Hayle. Dana Winter of El Reno, OK and her children, Will of Lubbock, TX, Ashely Riker of Brock, TX, Tanner of El Reno and Tyler of Lubbock, TX as well as many beloved cousins, nephews and nieces and friends.
