Kenneth Martin Snyder, lovingly known as "Ken", was born on August 20, 1952, in Syracuse, New York and went to the after life on September 6, 2024.
Ken graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1970. He joined the National Guard in 1972 and served his country until 1977. Ken met and fell in love with Sue Shaw. They were married in 1975 and lived in Edmond, Oklahoma. They were happily married for 49 years. Ken and Sue have one child, Jason Kenneth Snyder. Ken worked for over 30 years for Bridgestone Firestone and retired in 2012.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents Judson Martin and Virginia Unckless Snyder.
Ken is survived by his wife, Sue Snyder, his brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Lori Snyder, and child Jason Snyder and wife Kimberly Snyder. Ken is survived by one grandchild, Carson Kenneth Snyder. Ken had a love for Carson that was like no other.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, OK.
Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
