Kyle “Pistol” Cline, 59, of Piedmont, OK, passed away surrounded by love and family on January 1st, 2026. He was born on November 8th, 1966, in Edmond, OK.

Kyle was married to the love of his life, Jammia “JaJa” Cline, for 40 beautiful years. Together they built a life rooted in devotion, hard work, and family. They raised two children he was incredibly proud of: Amanda “Mandy” Rae Treece of Piedmont, OK and Chad Allen Cline, wife Megan Cline, of Piedmont, OK.

Kyle’s greatest joy was being a grandfather. He cherished his four grandchildren, who gave him is favorite title of all - “Kackle”. He was the proud Kackle to Jeremiah Allen and Ava James Cline, children of Chad and Megan Cline, and Cody Michael and Alexander Ray Treece, children of Amanda and Matthew Treece.

He is survived by his parents Janie and Wendell Johnson of Jones, OK, Marvin and Carol Cline of Guthrie, OK and Jackie and Rod Trombly of Loundon, TN. He is also survived by his siblings Kim and Danny Booth of Blanchard, OK, Krista and Jeff McNair of Kingfisher, OK, sister in law, Chanda and Jason Davis of Henderson, TX, step-siblings Travis Johnson of Harrah, OK, Angie Hoffmeister of Edmond, OK, and Eric Steiner of Guthrie, OK, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members and lifelong friends. Preceded in death by his twin sisters and grandparents Glen and Mable Cline of Edmond, OK, Lanoma and Tom Finley of Gore, OK, and Harold Pritchard of Grand Prairie, TX, as well as Great Grandparents Oma and Ben Checotah of Edmond, OK.

Kyle was a graduate of Deer Creek High, class of 1985. He was a true self-made man, spending his careers in sales and entrepreneurship as the founder and owner of Washita Supply - known for his strong work ethic, determination, and grit. Kyle built his business and reputation through honesty, perseverance, and heart.

In his younger years, “Pistol” Cline was a team roper and skilled horse trainer. Kyle found peace and purpose spending time in the woods hunting or at any lake or pond fishing. He also had a love of sports, competing, watching, coaching and cheering from the sidelines. His competitive spirit, discipline, and love of the game carried into every aspect of his life.

Kyle’s legacy lives on though his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation is to be held at Matthews Funeral Home, 601 S Kelly Ave, Edmond OK, 73003 on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.

Funeral Services to be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday January 5, 2026 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, 601 S Kelly Ave, Edmond OK, 73003 with burial to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, located 0.5 mile west of the intersection of N. Council Rd. and 234th St.
