Larry Dean Hoffman

Larry Dean Hoffman, 85, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026, in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was born on February 12, 1941, in Weatherford, Oklahoma, and will be remembered with love by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Larry was very active in sports growing up. He attended Weatherford High School where he was the quarterback of his high school football team and set several state records in track events. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and graduated with a doctorate degree in pharmacy. He was a dedicated pharmacist that loved serving people until he retired. He also had many hobbies over the years which included having his pilot’s license and flying planes, snow skiing, playing golf, gardening, and he loved playing practical jokes. Larry was such a caring and generous man, he loved helping people and going on mission trips.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Marie Hoffman; and his siblings, Darrell Hoffman, Linda Cummins, Donna Hoffman, and Dale Hoffman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Georgia Hoffman; daughters, Natalie Godwin and husband Trey and Paige Hoffman and three step-daughters; grandchildren, Danielle Terry and husband Travis, Aaron Isaacs, Aaron Godwin and wife Lacy, Zach Godwin and wife Ashly, Lacey Weeks and husband Seth, Elizabeth Isaacs, and Sarah Fishpaw and husband Chance; and great-grandchildren, Madison Terry, Mackenzie Terry, Maycee Terry, Lorenzo Villoni, and Aspen Weeks.

Larry’s greatest legacy will be the love he shared with his family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by those who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at First Baptist Church, 400 West Foley, Eufaula, OK 74432.

Family and friends are invited to gather together to celebrate Larry’s life and share memories of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
