Larry Lee Lambrecht, 73, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on April 15, 2026.
Larry lived a life defined by dedication, courage, and an unrelenting spirit of adventure. He served his country honorably as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, including a tour during the Vietnam War, an experience that shaped his resilience, discipline, and deep sense of duty that carried through every chapter of his life.
A skilled civil engineer and contractor, Larry took pride in building not only structures, but a life grounded in hard work and integrity. He approached his work the same way he approached everything, with focus, grit, and a commitment to doing things right.
Beyond his professional life, Larry pursued his passions with enthusiasm and determination. He was a Shriners clown who brought joy to others, a ballroom dancer who embraced life’s rhythm, and a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo who exemplified discipline and perseverance. His adventurous nature led him to become a pilot, a snow skier, and a scuba diver, always eager to take on new challenges and experiences.
Larry will be remembered as a loyal and hardworking man who met life head on. His strength of character, shaped in part by his service and lived out through his actions, left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Eleonora, his children, daughter Jessica and her husband Anson Brown and Matthew Lambrecht, his brother Richard and his wife Debbie, and all those whose lives he touched.
Larry’s legacy of determination, service and adventure will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Larry was an avid supporter of Big Dogs Huge Paws where he rescued his Great Dane and assisted in flying dogs to their newly adopted families. Larry's family requests that in lieu of flowers you donate to his favorite charity at this link: https://www.bigdogshugepaws.com/donate-to-bdhpi
