Bud Zielny was born in Britton, OK, to Mike and Margaret (Lewandowski) Zielny and raised on the Zielny Dairy Farm.  He graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School in 1944.  From 1944 to 1945 he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and later earned his pilot's license.

Bud loved his roses, feeding and watching birds and working on projects around the house.

On Sunday, Bud rejoined his wife, son Larry, parents, and sisters Claudine Griffin & Joyce Goodall.  He is survived by siblings William and Jerry Lou, his children Johnny & Linda Zielny, Mitzi & John Whetsel, and James Zielny, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many family members and friends.

A special thanks to caregiver Michelle Frejoe, Companion Home Health, Donnie Wright, Gerald Goodall and especially James Zielny for the special care they gave Bud.

Donations are encouraged to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Bud's name.
