Leota May Bishop

Leota May Bishop passed away May 3, 2017, in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was born August 3, 1934, in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Leo Chester Ritchey and Stacey May (Horton) Ritchey. Leota worked for many years as a Social Security Disability Agent, and at TG&Y as a Traffic Secretary.
Leota is preceded in death by her parents; sister Mary Ellen Broomfield; husband John Wilson Bishop; and granddaughter Angela Renee Caldwell.
She is survived by her son Daryl Bishop and wife Tina; step-son Gary John Bishop and wife Gayle; step-daughters Cathy Sue Seckel, Cheryle LaWayne Bishop, and Nita June Brewer and husband Bobby; sister Martha Ferguson; as well as nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-greatgrandchildren.
Leota will be loved and missed by all.
Public visitation will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m and Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 8, 2017 at Oakdale Baptist Church (formerly known as Witcher Baptist Church) at 10920 N Sooner Rd, Edmond, OK with interment at 3:30 p.m. at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks, OK.
