Linda Kay Amen

September 28, 1948 — February 26, 2026

Edmond

Linda Kay Amen, age 77, of Edmond, Oklahoma, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 26, 2026.

Linda was born on September 28, 1948. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was marked by unwavering love, quiet strength, and deep faith.

On May 13, 1966, she married the love of her life, Rodney Amen. For nearly 60 years, Linda and Rodney were inseparable — a beautiful example of commitment, loyalty, and Christ-centered marriage. Their love story was one that inspired everyone who knew them.

Linda’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Rodney Amen of Edmond, Oklahoma; her children Brad Amen and wife Aimee Amen of Edmond, OK, and Angie Watson and husband Travis Watson of Edmond, OK; and her six grandchildren: Kaitlyn Bruner and her husband Matt Bruner of Edmond, Oklahoma; Griffin Amen and his wife Ivanna Amen of Edmond, Oklahoma; Grayson Amen and his fiancée Kalli Meinhold of Austin, Texas; Hannah Watson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Samuel Watson of Moore, Oklahoma; and Simon Watson of Edmond, Oklahoma. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Jackson Bruner, Graham Bruner, and Bennett Bruner, all of Edmond, Oklahoma; and Lavender Watson of Moore, Oklahoma. Linda is also survived by her three brothers: Hollis Morris, James Morris, and Mark Morris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Ruth Morris, and her beloved son, Kevin Amen.

Linda’s faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She trusted the Lord in every season — in joy and in hardship — and she lived out her faith through kindness, generosity, prayer, and unconditional love. Her steady spirit and gentle encouragement pointed others to Christ in a quiet but powerful way. She leaves behind a legacy of faith that will continue through generations.

Linda will be remembered for her warm smile, her servant’s heart, and the way she made every gathering feel like home. While her family grieves her absence, they rejoice knowing she is healed, whole, and at peace in the presence of her Savior.

Her life was a beautiful testimony to love, faith, and family — and she will be deeply missed until the day we are reunited again.
