Linda Ann Dever
1944 – 2024
Linda Ann (Bush) Dever, age 79, passed peacefully in her home on March 5, 2024. She was born on March 30, 1944, in Pretty Prairie, Kansas to parents Marvin and Eileen Bush who preceded her in death.
Later her family moved to Edmond, OK where Linda lived until her passing. She attended and graduated from Edmond high school in 1962 and attended college at the University of Central Oklahoma. She was a member of the Edmond First United Methodist Church and made her career as a legal secretary for a local Edmond law firm Rice & White, where she worked for many years.
During this time, she met and married William Dever, her husband of over 50 years before his passing in 2022. Bill and linda spent many happy times traveling over the United States and Europe. Linda was a loving and devoted mother to Jeffrey Scott, who presently resides in the home.
Linda had one sister Marlene who preceded her in death. She also leaves behind many friends and family who will miss her greatly.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at a later date.
