Lois Jean Haddock

Our beautiful mother, Lois Jean Haddock, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at the age of 99.

Lois grew up in Riverton, Kansas and married her husband, Charles Donald Haddock on December 13, 1942.

She worked for the Hartley Insurance Agency for 28 years and retired as office manager. After retirement she and Don traveled to several countries, seeing the world.

She loved reading, cake decorating, and needle work. She also loved homemaking and raising her four children, Terry Lee, Carol Kay, Barry Wayne, and Douglas Craig.

She loved all of her grandchildren, Michael Sean Haddock, Shelly Jean West, Tracy Yerington, and all of her Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death, by her parents, John and Lulu Mills, brother Harlan Chase Mills, son Barry, and husband Don.

Memorial service will be announced.

A prayer for Lois Jean Haddock

Life has laid me down to sleep. My soul to God I give to keep.

I won't be around anymore to share your space, But believe it when I say, I'm in a Better Place.

I'm now with my family that went before, How could anyone ask for more.

United with Don as husband and wife,

Here's Barry with mom and dad, blessings ofmy life.

My bones don't ache and my eyes are clear, Things are so much better since arriving here.

Life on earth was a treasure and I leave it all behind, I'm joining a new world now, none better you'11 find.

Don't cry and mourn my passing,

Celebrate my life with you as such a blessing. We'll meet again when the time is right,

And share life ever after, such a beautiful sight.
