Louise Lois Nolan
1919-2017
Louise L. Quinn Nolan of Edmond, OK died on February 19, 2017. She is 97. She was born on December 6, 1919 in Milledgeville, GA. She married James M. Nolan. Together they had three children, Don, Faye, and Terry. They moved from Georgia to Delaware where they raised their children. She was always there for her children. She later divorced after 35 years of marriage. She moved back to Georgia along with her daughter, Terry. She worked at many different domestic jobs but her most memorable position was at Conyers Day Care Center where she prepared meals for the children.
She loved cooking and sitting on the porch. She was happiest when family or neighbor children came to visit, sitting on the porch and listening to them tell her what they did during the day or at school. She loved taking trips to visit family, or short trips to the beach, visiting towns like Hershey, PA and Branson, MO. Louise moved to Edmond, OK in June 2006 with her daughter. Shortly after moving, she started showing signs of dementia which progressed over the years. She moved into Grace Living Nursing Home in September 2015.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Faye and Terry, grandchildren, Dawn, Daryl, Thad and Warren and several great-grandchildren.
