Louise "Weezy" Reed

Louise was born in Chicago, IL to I.C. and Leona Reynolds as one of seven kids. She lost both parents and all four brothers: Hayward, Edward, Charles, and Wayne.

Louise attended Carver Elementary where she met the love of her life, Bob. Then on to Carver High, class of 1972. She also attended Kennedy King College before marriage in 1975, a marriage that lasted 51 years. 

In 1976, she moved to Oklahoma City where she worked 36 years for Hertz Rental, retiring in 2009. Louise raised three children: Kalina (Q) Hardy, Robert Reed, and Roberta Reed. Then her greatest loves, two grandchilden: Kimbry and Quinonous Hardy II. 

She is survived by her husband Bob and two loving sisters Nancy Reynolds (Tyrone) and Jurnice Flowers (John).

Public Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, Oklahoma.

A service to celebrate Louise's life will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Gatling's Chapel Inc, Chicago, IL with public viewing prior to the service from 11:00am to 11:30am.

Louise will be laid to rest at 10:00am, Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
