Helen "Lucy" Lucille Moore

Helen Lucille Moore, “Lucy” to the rest of us, passed away Wednesday, August 12th, 2026, at the age of 66.

Born to Benjamin and Rachel Little on January 23, 1960, in Topeka, Kansas. Lucy spent most of her time in the Oklahoma City metro area, graduating from Putnam City West in 1978. She married the love of her life, Phil, just a few months later.

While Lucy spent most of her career in Banking, she was really in the people business. She always made those around her feel special and cultivated relationships that would last long past her time in any office.

Lucy loved sports more than most people. Whether it was watching her own children, Eric or Jenni, her seven grandchildren, or the University of Oklahoma, she could always be heard screaming louder than most on the sidelines. Saturdays at Memorial Stadium and countless youth sports sidelines will be much quieter in her absence.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Rachel, stepmother, Dorothy, her sister in law, Dale Mullins and brother in law, Gary Pracht. She is survived by her husband Phillip Lee Moore, daughter Jennifer and husband Jordan, son Eric and wife JacQueline, grandchildren Caden, Crew, Carter, Callie, Gabriella, Emma, and Bennett. She is also survived by her sister, Mary, many beloved nieces and nephews whom she cherished dearly as her own, and her Boston Terriers, Baker and Boomer.

Lucy will be missed immensely.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Lucy Moore will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 17, 2026, at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, Oklahoma.
