Margaret Louise Moberly

November 30, 1930 — November 30, 2022

Margaret slipped quietly from this life into her Lord and Savior's loving arms on November 28, 2023. Her earthly life began on April 4, 1931, in Okarche, OK when she was born eldest of 4 children to Ted & Evelyn McCray. In 1947 she left school to begin a 71-year adventure with the love of her life, Wilford Moberly. The marriage which began February 7, 1947, was blessed with 3 daughters, Alta, Rita, and Annita, and called many places home before settling down in Edmond OK. Over the years Margaret had a variety of professions: Store owner of Moberly Feed and Seed (1 yr); food services at Edmond Public Schools (2 yrs) and the Veterans Hospital (1.5); and warehouse woman at Tinker Air Force Base (21 yrs.) from where she retired. During that time, she was also active in-Home Demonstration, VFW Auxiliary, and the Good Sams Camper Club. Love of travel led the couple to visit all 50 United States and all bordering provinces of Canada and Mexico. In 1974 Margaret accomplished a long- time dream of earning her Graduate Equivalency Diploma (GED).

As Margaret's health declined, she was lovingly cared for and spoiled by the staff at StoneCreek of Edmond.
