Margaret E. Wilmoth
1919-2015
Margaret E. Wilmoth, age 96, Edmond, OK passed away on December 12, 2015. Margaret was the only child born to Ira and Gertrude Brightwell at "Chapman Ranch" at Mannsville, OK., on June 11, 1919. She worked for the Internal Revenue and was co-owner of Edmond Carpet Service.
She loved camping with her family and friends, traveling, swimming, fishing, beach combing at Padre Island, playing cards and activities with Church family. She was an excellent cook and seamstress and loved caring for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Bennett Cathey, Wayne Wilmoth and Robert Sharp, daughter, Gaye Bryant, one grandchild, Don Gene Bryant, two son in laws, Donald Bryant and Larry Cone and numerous aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Cathey Barber Lopez and Cheryl Wilmoth Cone; grandchildren, Kevin & Denise Barber, Adam & Natalie Barber, Mark Cone, Steve & Kelly Cone, Michelle & Tim Landis, Norma Jeanne & Ray Wiyninger, Jan & Marty Cole, Brenda & Ron Rudolph and Keith & Tina Bryant. 22 Great-grandchildren and 14 Great Great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes contributions be made to Saint Jude Hospital, Hope Center of Edmond or the Wounded Warrior Project.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the First Christian Church Chapel, Edmond, OK with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery.
