Marie Baker of Edmond, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on February 17, 2017 in Edmond at the age of 95. She was born January 4, 1922 on her grandparent's farm in Akron, Iowa. She married Eddie Baker on July 2, 1941. She has been a member of St. John the Baptist Church for 66 years.

Survivors include sons: David and Arlene Baker of Lawton, Edward and Carol Baker of Oklahoma City: daughters; Barbara and Mike Doty of Stockton, CA, Kathy and Danny Opp of Edmond; Cindy Uecke of Arcadia, OK; thirteen grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Grace Living Center of Edmond and Good Shepherd Hospice, especially Roxanna for the loving care they gave our mom.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.
