Marie Ann Reynold Savage
1937-2020
Marie Ann Reynolds Savage passed away peacefully at her home on November 6, 2020. Marie was born April 27, 1937, in Orchard Nebraska to Conrad and Edna Liebsack.
She graduated from Orchard High School and Nebraska Christian College. While in high school, Marie played basketball, volleyball, and was a majorette. While in college she met her first husband Curtis Reynolds.
Curtis and Marie enjoyed 46 years of marriage. During their nearly five decades together, Curtis and Marie ministered to many churches in seven states. In 2002, Marie was preceded in death by Curtis.
In 2009, Marie married her second husband LeRoy Savage. Marie and LeRoy were married five years before LeRoy passed away in 2014.
Marie loved spending time in the word of God, traveling, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her immediate family, her church family, and her innumerable friends.
Marie was known as a mighty prayer warrior ministering to all with whom she came into contact.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her husbands. Marie is survived by her three children: her daughter Rona Simants and her husband Rick; her son Barry Reynolds and his wife Sondra; her daughter Leslie Savage and her husband Chet; her stepdaughter Lori Bunton; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Side Christian Church and Oklahoma Palliative and Hospice Care. A memorial will be held on Wednesday, November 11 at 11 a.m. at North Side Christian Church.
