Marjorie Joan Evans, 95, of Edmond, OK passed away peacefully in Oklahoma City.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Loren E Evans of Wichita; parents Walter & Hettie (Kaufmann) Bortz of Rush County, KS; brothers Harold and Lester Bortz; sisters Helen Bortz, Meryle Bortz, and Maureta Walker.  She is survived by her son Gregg (Cindy) Evans of Edmond, OK; daughter Sherri (Charles) Tollett of Collierville, TN; granddaughters Jennifer (Shaun) Anderson and Sarah (Donald) Patterson; grandsons Bradley Evans and David Tollett; and many nieces and nephews.

She was born a triplet and raised on the farm in Rush County, Kansas. During WW II, she and Maureta graduated high school and followed their big sister Helen to Wichita to work at Santa Fe Railroad.  After marrying and raising a family, she then pursued a second career at JC Penney. Marjorie lived 72 years in Wichita.  Always on the go with gardening, cooking, dozens of hobbies, collections, making family genealogy books.  Often hosting family get-togethers on every holiday and giving us the great memories of the annual family reunions.

She was a wonderful blessing from God to all those around her.  Private services in Kansas. Memorial at BillyGraham.org
