Mark Allen Fuller
1961-2021
Mark Allen Fuller was born to Guy Edward Fuller Jr. and Phyllis Irene Morrow Fuller on August 20, 1961, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and passed away on October 21, 2021, very peacefully with his children by his side. Mark grew up in Oklahoma City and Yukon, Oklahoma. While attending Yukon High School, he played on the golf team and tied for 6 th in the 4A State Championship in 1976. After high school he went on to attend The University of Houston on a golf scholarship. He was on the National Championship Team in 1982 and was on the teams that finished 3 rd in 1981 and 1983. Mark was also named an All-American in 1982. That same year he was on the Olympic Team that went to Japan.
After college Mark went on to work in the golf industry starting out as an Assistant Golf Professional at Oak Tree Country Club from 1987-1992. Then from 1992-2000, he was the Head Golf Professional at Riverhill Country Club in Kerrville, Texas. He then moved on to become the Head Golf Professional at Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond, Oklahoma, from 2000-2012. Following Oak Tree Country Club, he worked at Gaillardia Country Club, Golf Club at Surrey Hills, and River Oaks Golf Club.
Mark won numerous South Central PGA Section Tournaments. He was greatly known and will be remembered for his hospitality, generosity, and kindness not only in the golf community but to everyone who encountered him.
Mark was married to Leah Ann Savadin for 26 years (1987-2013) and in that marriage they were blessed with three children, Austen Edward Fuller (28), Courtney Ann Fuller (25), and Brice David Fuller (20). Mark centered his life around his three kids. They were his world and everything he did or accomplished in his life were for them.
Grieving the loss of Mark are his kids, Austen Edward Fuller (28), Courtney Ann Fuller (25) along with her husband Cameron Rashad Fuller (31), and Brice David Fuller (20); former wife Leah Savadin Baker along with her husband Rick Baker; siblings Pete Wheeler and wife Lisa, Pam Thompson and husband Terry, Guy E. Fuller III, Carie Lackey, and husband Sheldon. And many nieces and nephews and other family.
He is greeted in heaven by his mother Phyllis I. Fuller, father Guy E. Fuller Jr. and Stepmother Susanne J. Fuller, brother, David J. Fuller, and Grandparents, Guy E. and Jessie Fuller, Sr. and Ralph C. and Irene Morrow.
Mark has now gained his crown in heaven and is no longer suffering. He was a fighter and truly a miracle. The family is at peace knowing he is now with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, healed and filled with joy.

Family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, October 24th at Matthews Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 25, 2021 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
