Matha Eloise Seale Palmer

Martha Eloise Seale Palmer, 87, died peacefully on May 8, 2018 surrounded by her children. She was born on March 16, 1931, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Prentiss & Eloise Seale. She was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Palmer, her parents and brother, Prentiss Seale. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in French, Martha and Bill ventured to Victoria, Texas where Martha supported Bill in the Air Force, and then they made their lifelong home in Edmond, OK. Martha became a Christian through Christian Women's Club and followed Christ faithfully especially as an Elder and committed member of the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond. She also served joyfully as a volunteer at Infant Crisis Services and the Hope Center. Martha enjoyed golf and the pleasure of many friends made along the way. She is survived by her children Eddie and Leigh Palmer Thompson, Chris and Patsy Palmer, Steve and Lesie Palmer, and Emily Palmer Blaess and late husband John, along with 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond, OK or Infant Crisis Services. Services to celebrate her life will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond. The family will be greeting visitors at Matthews Funeral Home on Thursday, May 10 th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
