Mary Janell Harrison was born September 23, 1942, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She passed away January 7, 2022, in Edmond, Oklahoma.
She attended Oklahoma State University and was an avid supporter of the Cowboys.
Janell married her husband of 53 years James D. Harrison on March 30, 1968, in Guthrie. He is an avid University of Oklahoma Sooners fan which made for many lively conversations.
Janell worked at United Auto Supply in Oklahoma City for several years.
She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist in Edmond and was a member of Lavina Catholic Church in Lavina, Oklahoma in her younger years.
Janell is survived by her sister-in-law Carol Harrison, cousins, and loving friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Agnes Griffin.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Janell's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Services are to be held Friday, March 25th 2022, beginning at 11:00AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 900 S Littler Ave, Edmond, OK 73034.
