It is with the deepest sorrow that we share the tragic news that Megan Nicole Thomas passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the age of 27, in her family home.
Megan was so many things to so many people, but to ALL of us she was truly one of a kind. She was the most unique, quirky, loveable, never-met-a-stranger, intelligent, brutally honest friend, partner, sister, daughter, aunt, niece, and grandchild. No one ever knew what might pop out of her mouth or if it would be the appropriate timing, but you could put money on the fact, that it would be honest, brilliant, loud and punny with a "see what I did there, eh, eh?!", followed by her own cackle. This sound we will ALL miss dearly.
Megan felt deeply for all beings and carried a vast well of empathy. She was always ready to lift a friend or family member’s spirits with goofy banter or a burst of show tunes. She loved taking center stage, belting out favorites from her wonderfully eclectic taste in music, a collection that only grew richer with time. Her vibrant hair colors reflected the energy she radiated from her soul, while her piercings and tattoos proudly expressed her creative spirit. Her curiosity for new talents and marvels continually shaped the Megan we all loved.
She will be dearly missed.
We love every single one of you who helped love Megan in her short years on this planet. We ALL need our people and you were hers!
Marcus Aurelius wrote: “Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”
We hope that no matter your beliefs, you can rest knowing Megan was GOOD, RARE, and AUTHENTIC. We will be the ones who carry on the memories. Together we would love for you ALL to find your favorite videos, photos, and stories then share with the hashtag #allofmeg
We can all reflect and remember her with life and laughter in this way.
Thank you for ALL the love and support from those who have already reached out and stepped up in this time. We see you ALL and will respond when we come up for air.
Sending positive energy to ALL who need it! #allofmeg
