Melvin Martin Hein
1938 – 2022
Melvin Martin Hein passed away at the age of 84 in the early morning hours of Sunday July 31. Melvin was born April 26, 1938, on the family farm outside of Blackwell, Oklahoma to Benjamin and Margaret Hein. He was the youngest of six children.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Emelia Hein. He is also survived by his daughters Cindy Davis of Edmond, Lisa Brown and husband Will of Edmond and his grandsons Joel Davis and Radford Davis and Noah Brown Being one of six children, he had many nieces and nephews.
Melvin worked hard his entire life. He loved to go camping and ride his 450 Honda motorcycle. He loved making penny banks in his shop. Melvin also spent many hours researching his family's history and sharing it with other family members.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 13 th , 2022, at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, Oklahoma beginning at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be given to the American Heart Association.
