Michael Craig Bartlett age of 73 years, was born Dec 24, 1950 in Bloomfield, Iowa and went to be with the Lord on Jan 23, 2024 in Mercy Hospital. Michael made His home in Edmond, Ok.
Michael is survived by: His wife Mary Elizabeth "MaryBeth Bohi" Bartlett of Edmond, OK – His niece Sarah Elizabeth "Bartlett" Spencer of Albia, IA and brother Stephen Bartlett of Bloomfield, IA. Michael was proceeded in death by His parents Carl Lewis and Wanda Lorraine "Shields" Bartlett, and also His Grandparents.
Michael grew up in rural Bloomfield, Iowa, graduated 1969 from Davis County Community School District, where He was also a Student School Bus Driver. Michael "Mike" Bartlett was a lifetime OTR Semi-driver, holding driver certifications in all categories, that are recognized to be licensed by DOT. Mike also has received many safe/good driver awards during His lifetime of OTR Driving.
Michael was a member of the Yukon OK Nazarene Church, the Oklahoma Appaloosa Horse Club, the National Appaloosa Horse Club, and a lifetime member of the National Reining Horse Association.
Michael "Mike" Bartlett was a self-confessed, confirmed, "Christian-child of God", and stated that He did not want to die anytime soon, but that He and the Good Lord, had His Eternal Home arrangements all worked out when His earthly life was ended…At this same moment, He was ushered into His Eternal Life where He will never be sick, be in pain, shed any tears, or die again. (Revelation 21: 1-4)
Michael's Graveside Celebration of Life and Memorial, will be Sat, May 25, 2024 – 3:00 pm at Union Cemetery, Bloomfield IA (rural Davis County.)
