Michael L. Benton, 51, of Edmond, OK, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2015. Mike was born on July 2, 1953, in Wilmington, California. His parents are Kenneth and Billie Benton. Mike graduated from Hominy High School in 1983 and pursued a career in plumbing for 26 years. Mike was united in marriage with Rhonda Benton for 26 years, and from this union was born three daughters: Avri, 18, Holli, 16, and Autym, 14. Mike was a very loving and caring husband and father. He was a hard worker, and being a provider to his family was very important to him. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, watching OU football, Thunder basketball, archery, and vacationing at Padre Island. He will be greatly missed.

Mike is survived by his wife Rhonda; daughters Avri, Holli, and Autym; three brothers, David Long, Donald Benton, and Thomas Benton; two sisters, Kennette Benton and Donna Roull; and Grandmother, Francis Close.

Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, OK. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
